You may see a lead who has an odd-looking email address, for example z83t1cvda111i3n0s5t3kp9mrk@convo.zillow.com. Such a lead came from a listing site, like Zillow, that doesn't send us the lead's actual email address when the lead fills out the contact me form to let us know they're interested in the rental. Instead, like with Zillow, they send us an obfuscated email address and pass the email we send to the lead's real email...like a relay.

When the lead clicks through to pre-qualify we pick up that the email we have is an obfuscated email address, remove it, and require the lead to provide a real email address.

If you send an email to the obfuscated email address the listing site should pass it along to the lead.
