Why am I receiving leads directly that are not in Tenant Turner?

Tenant Turner is designed to receive and automatically follow up with your leads so you don't have to, but what does it mean if you're still receiving leads directly that are not found in your Tenant Turner system? The most common reason for this is because your own contact details are tied to listings, when it should be Tenant Turner's contact details. Below are some troubleshooting steps to help make sure all of your leads are routed to us instead of you!

Syndication:

What is your syndication source?

  • If you have Tenant Turner handling your syndication efforts, all listings will automatically have Tenant Turner details tied to them, sending leads into the system. When Tenant Turner syndicates for you, make sure ALL other syndication sources are turned off (i.e. your property management system, MLS, etc.) to avoid the Tenant Turner listings from being blocked as duplicates.

  • If you are syndicating from your property management system (i.e. Propertyware, Rentec Direct, etc.) make sure that you have configured your listings details to route leads into Tenant Turner.

  • If you are syndicating from your MLS, review our Posting to your MLS article to see which configuration option is best for you!

Manually-posted Listings:

Are you manually posting listings to any of the listing sites?

  • If so, make sure your listings are set up with your Tenant Turner listing phone number and email address as the listing contact. Your Tenant Turner phone number and email address can be found under the Rentals page > Listing Information tab.

Company Website:

Do you allow leads to inquire about a listing from your website?
