Assign a lockbox for lead and vendor access to an active rental

  1. In Tenant Turner, click Settings under the rental you want to assign the lockbox to

  2. Scroll down to the Viewings section

  3. Turn on self-access viewings and select the Viewing Type

  4. Pick the serial number from the dropdown

  5. Choose your desired Viewing Approval method. See the screenshot below

  6. Click the "Save Rental Settings" button at the bottom of the page

Note: This option is only visible when you have self-access viewings enabled in your Account Settings.

That's it! Now tenant leads will have the choice to schedule a self access lockbox viewing.

Note: If a lead arrives 90 mins before or after their scheduled appointment time, Tenant Turner will not provide the lead with their access code. We will also not provide a lead with their access code if they arrive before or after the Self-Access timeframe that is indicated under your Account Settings (i.e 8am-9pm).

Assign a lockbox for vendor access to a deactivated rental or a rental not in Tenant Turner

On the lockbox page, locate the serial number of the lockbox in question and click Settings under the serial number in question. Then, in the Address field type in the rental address for your records.

Notes:

  • 'Get a code' works during the access hours of the physical box

  • 'Send a code' would be confined to the account settings hours

  • Any SentriLock lockboxes purchased after 12/01/2021 may not have the box-limited hours, meaning the box may be opened by codes generated by your team 24/7. Leads can still only access within the scheduled hours the property manager has set in Tenant Turner. Tenant Turner does not track which boxes were purchased before and after that change.
